A reclaimed brick planting bed and fireplace with an enormous, salvaged hearthstone seamlessly integrate with the original, 1850s garden wall, creating the impression that they’ve been there all along.
A tight bluestone patio complements the brick surrounds, offering a fresh foundation for gathering and dining. Re-imagined drainage beneath the stone prevents flooding.
A custom oak trellis runs above the house’s back door, framing the entry to the garden and tying into the house with stylish and rugged steel airline cable.
Custom metalwork, painted a warm terra cotta, runs up the back of the house to conceal and organize exterior electrical infrastructure.
A timed irrigation system supports stately plantings.
